Our three levels of service are designed to meet the needs of all cars, whatever their condition:
Interim Service – This service includes an engine oil and filter change, air filter change, top ups of essential fluids, as well as basic checks of vehicle health for example brake, steering and suspension components.
Full Service – This is a comprehensive service and in many cases it exceeds most manufacturers’ service schedules. As well as all of the items included on an interim service, a full service includes: replacement spark plugs (if applicable) fuel filter change, cabin/pollen filter change (if applicable) brake fluid test or replacement if required, antifreeze strength test or replacement if required and a more in depth inspection of vehicle health than an interim service, for example a brake strip and clean.
Major Service – In addition to all the items included in our Interim and Full Services, the Major Service includes replacement of your vehicle’s cambelt (also known as the timing belt) and water pump (if timing belt driven).
There are a few things you’ll need to bring with you on the day, to make sure your Car Service goes smoothly…
Locking Wheel Nut Key – As part of your car service, our technicians will need to remove your wheels to inspect the condition of your steering and suspension systems. This will involve removing your vehicle’s wheels. Please bring your locking nuts with you, so that our team can carry out your Service without delay. We also supply a bag to keep your wheel nut key in, free of charge, making it easier to find next time you need it.
An Empty Boot – Our technicians will inspect the condition and tread depth of your spare tyre, which is usually located under the boot of the car. They may also need to replace any blown bulbs which might require obstruction free access to the boot. Please empty your boot of luggage and other heavy items before you arrive.
Your Service Book – We will stamp your service book for you and fill in all of the details. This will help you keep track of when your next service is due. If you have misplaced your service log book, we will provide you with a new one, free of charge. If your service record is online, we will update it accordingly.
Yes of course, we have access to manufacturer’s service schedules for all makes and models. Please call us to discuss and we will be happy to advise you. We will require the vehicle mileage and registration number in order to assist you fully. Take a look at our car servicing pages here.
